John’s career in Enterprise Architecture and Project Management spans over 25 years, with a focus on Infrastructure Development and Best Practice methodologies. He began as a cross between a Solution Architect and Business Architect, designing solutions for major clients of a software development firm. John then transitioned to the architecture team of a multinational corporation, where he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing infrastructure architectures across four major regions of the world. He later leveraged his expertise to become a consultant and help clients align their IT with longer-term business strategies, using the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture framework as a baseline for best practice methods.
As a Corporate Trainer, Coach, and Mentor for 16 years, he specialises in TOGAF EA® and Applied Business Architecture, as well as Project Management and Agile disciplines. His training philosophy centres on simplicity and engagement, using clear communication and relevant examples to break down complex concepts into easily digestible pieces. He encourages participation and feedback through interactive techniques like group discussions, quizzes, and games, to ensure the training is relevant and impactful for each individual.
