Rajiv Dhir brings over 30 years of IT experience spanning organisations from 10 to 100,000 people. With particular expertise in Finance & Banking, Legal Services, and IT Software and Services, Rajiv has led strategic IT initiatives across sectors, with experience managing programmes valued at over $100 million. He is known for helping clients unlock the business value of IT by combining strategic insight with practical delivery.

Rajiv began his career in technology firms before moving into Investment Banking, where he worked extensively with risk systems and middle- and back-office functions. Over the past 15 years, he has worked as a consultant, guiding organisations through enterprise-wide change by aligning business and IT strategy using Enterprise Architecture. He is especially skilled at facilitating understanding between executive leadership and IT, ensuring both groups know what to expect from each other and how to work effectively together.

His work often involves helping organisations optimise systems and structure, using frameworks such as TOGAF®, ArchiMate®, and BIAN. He is comfortable working at board level and excels in the delicate art of rebalancing human resources to fit restructured environments, minimising disruption during major organisational change.

Training and Facilitation

Rajiv has been delivering Architecture training for over a decade, acting as a course instructor, content developer, examiner, facilitator, and mentor. He regularly delivers courses across Europe and has worked with clients from a wide range of industries. His training covers TOGAF®, ArchiMate®, BIAN, and Business Architecture, and he often supports private and bespoke engagements in Architecture education.

He is a certified expert in TOGAF®, ArchiMate®, and Business Architecture, and has consistently maintained up-to-date credentials—progressing from TOGAF 9 through 9.2 to the current Standard 10th Edition, and from ArchiMate 2 to ArchiMate 3. In addition to these core certifications, Rajiv also holds The Open Group certifications in Integrating Risk and Security, TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Modelling Practitioner 9.2, and has contributed as a team member to the development of TOGAF Digital Enterprise Architecture (9.2). These additional credentials deepen his ability to align enterprise architecture with emerging digital, risk, and security challenges—strengthening the strategic value of architecture within organisations.
