Module 0: Welcome to TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Bridge

Module zero serves as an introduction to the main components of the course, including its features, learning plan, aims, objectives, and structure. Additional resources provided include a course guide, a pack of diagrams, a glossary, a document containing further reading and links, as well as opportunities to download vital copies of framework publications.

Module 1: Key changes in the TOGAF Standard

This module delves into the significant updates from the 9th to the 10th editions of the TOGAF Standard. It reviews the documentation set and essential guides associated with TOGAF.

Module 2: Introducing the content for Enterprise Architecture

Module two offers definitions of Enterprise Architecture and discusses the governance and iteration processes within the TOGAF method.

Module 3: Enterprise Architecture and the Practitioner role

The third module investigates the practitioner’s role within Enterprise Architecture. It covers management of Agile development and digital business under TOGAF, focusing on critical issues like risk management and security. A scenario is included for practical application of the concepts learned.

Module 4: Phase A – The starting point and Stakeholder management

This module addresses Phase A of the ADM, focusing on stakeholder management during architectural endeavours. It examines crucial aspects of Phase A, including architectural views, viewpoints, and evaluating alternatives and trade-offs. It includes a scenario for demonstrating knowledge application.

Module 5: Architecture Development

Module five explores Phases B, C, and D of the ADM, discussing the inputs, outputs, procedures, and approaches for each phase, as well as security concerns associated with them. It includes a scenario for practical demonstration of learned concepts.

Module 6: Implementing the Architecture

In this module, Phases E, F, and G of the ADM are explored in terms of inputs, outputs, steps, and approaches, alongside their security implications. It includes a scenario to demonstrate the application of knowledge.

Module 7: Supporting the ADM work

Module seven covers fundamental concepts that underpin the ADM work, including Business Scenarios, Migration Planning Techniques, Compliance reviews, the Architecture Landscape, and the Architecture Repository. It includes a scenario for knowledge demonstration.

Module 8: Application and Exam Preparation

This module consists of a series of exam preparation exercises designed around real-world scenarios and includes a timed practice exam.

Module 9: TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Bridge Wrap-up

The final module concludes the course and outlines additional courses that may be of interest to participants.

Pearson Vue is the certified provider for TOGAF®, IT4IT™, and ArchiMate® certification exams, offering services globally through a vast network of test centres.

This course includes a practice TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Bridge exam to aid students in their preparation for the actual examination.

Detailed explanations are provided with the answers to enhance candidates’ understanding of how to excel in the test.

Participants also receive a FREE exam voucher and free resit (terms and conditions apply).

Requests for exam vouchers are generally processed within two days, although it may take up to five. Remember to request your exam voucher during the course access period which begins on the date of purchase. For additional details, consult the GEL Support & FAQs page.

Candidates must complete at least 80% of their course on the LMS and pass at least 10 of the 15 Learning Studies questions for this course before requesting their exam voucher.

Course Prerequisites:

Attendees must already be Certified in TOGAF® 9. This includes Versions 9.1 and 9.2

TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Bridge exam

  • Exam Structure: The exam is divided into two parts:
    • Section 1: Consists of 10 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 20 minutes. This section is closed book, prohibiting the use of any external resources or materials.
    • Section 2: Includes 4 complex, multiple-choice, scenario-based questions, with a completion time of 40 minutes. This section is open book, allowing the use of resources.
  • Total Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Passing Criteria: To pass the exam, candidates must score at least 18 out of 30 marks, equivalent to 60%.
  • Resources: No resources are allowed in Part 1, while Part 2 permits reference materials.
