Agile Programme Management (AgilePgM®) Foundation
An Introduction to this AgilePgM Foundation Course
This module provides an introduction to the course. Candidates also take a pre-course assessment
Module 1: Overview
This module provides a broad overview of AgilePgM, including the key elements of the framework.
Module 2: Philosophy & Principles
This module addresses the philosophy of Agile before introducing the five Principles of the AgilePgM framework.
Module 3: Lifecycle and Products
This module examines the lifecycle of Agile programs. It also looks at the ‘products’ involved.
Module 4: Planning
This module addresses the planning phase of Agile programs, as well as the implications of long-term planning within an Agile context. It also introduces ‘MoSCoW Prioritisation’.
Module 5: Roles and Responsibilities
This module looks at the roles and responsibilities involved in AgilePgM programs. These include the roles found in Agile program management teams, capability delivery teams, and support teams.
The module also addresses the importance of stakeholder engagement in ensuring the success of Agile programs.
Module 6: Governance
This module describes the governance principles and structure of AgilePgM that keep programs agile without losing track of corporate goals.
Module 7: Management and Control
This module examines the management and control elements of AgilePgM, as well as the review points of an Agile program and the use of tranches.
Module 8: Quality Management
This module looks at how quality management is applied to an Agile program. It also takes candidates through the requirements and outputs of quality management.
Practice Exam Simulators
This course features practice exams for the AgilePgM Foundation certification exam. Students are advised to familiarise themselves with the syllabus as much as possible before taking an exam.
This course is meticulously crafted to equip students with the knowledge and tools required to successfully pass the AgilePgM Foundation certification exam. Importantly, there are no prerequisites required to take this exam.
Receiving your voucher: Exam vouchers for any APMG-accredited course can be requested at any time after you have started your course. Exam vouchers for any APMG-accredited course can be requested at any time after you have started your course. Voucher requests are generally processed within two working days, though we ask you to allow up to five. Be sure to request your exam voucher within the access period of the course.
Taking your exam: Exams for GEL’s APMG courses can only be taken online. APMG’s exams are managed through the ProctorU service. To take an exam via ProctorU, candidates will need to download the Guardian Browser. Installing this browser may require local administrator permission.
Prior to scheduling your exam, ensure your device meets the necessary technical specifications, as AgileBA exams are proctored online by ProctorU on behalf of APMG International. Please visit the APMG International website for more information.
Rescheduling your exam: APMG allows candidates to reschedule their exam once with no additional cost. You must reschedule the exam at least 10 days before the original exam date. APMG charge an administration fee to reschedule an exam a second time.
Extending exam voucher validity: APMG exam vouchers cannot be extended beyond the validity period shown on the voucher.
Exam retakes: APMG doesn’t offer an exam retake program. If you would like to retake an APMG exam, you must purchase a new exam voucher.
After passing the exam, you’ll earn the Agile Programme Management (AgilePgM®) Foundation Badge, which you can proudly display on your LinkedIn profile to showcase your achievement and expertise.
