Welcome to AgileBA® Awareness
Module zero introduces you to the course’s main features, learning plan, aims and objectives, and structure. It also offers a diagram pack, glossary, and further reading and links document.

Module 1: Introduction to AgileBA®
In Module 1, we examine the role of a ‘business analyst’ and how it can incorporate Agile. We also explore the context of an Agile business analyst’s function in relation to business needs. Finally, we take candidates through the AgileBA® certification scheme.

Module 2: The DSDM Framework
In Module 2, we move on to present the philosophy and processes of the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), along with the eight DSDM principles, the DSDM team model, and DSDM management products.

Module 3: Requirements
In Module 3, we discuss AgileBA®’s requirements, as well as several user stories. We also look at how the Agile approach deals with project variables and prioritization.

Module 4: Practices
In Module 4, we explore some of AgileBA®’s key practices, including facilitated workshops, modeling, prototyping, timeboxes, and iterative development.

Module 5: AgileBA® Awareness Wrap-Up
Module 5 brings the course to a close. We discuss the elements covered in previous modules and help students understand what to expect from studying for certification in AgileBA®.
