Career Summary

Julie is a thought leader in business strategy, architecture and operating model design with 20 years of experience as an executive and advisor to the C-suite across a diverse set of industries and sectors including Banking & FinTech, Consulting & Advisory, Machine & Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Business Process Management (BPM), Telecommunications and Software Engineering. She is the lead author of THE STRATEGY JOURNEY® book (2017) and is currently an entrepreneur and strategic advisor through her company Stratability. 

Julie is also a speaker on topics including Machine Intelligence & Autonomous Vehicles, Women in STEM and Business Strategy.

Julie has worked across several industries as a software and systems engineer, solutions architect, and in the past 10 years, her experience has moved along the business architecture curve into strategy & planning, especially business and operating model design for Fortune 500 companies, global tier 1 banks and FinTech start-ups. She has run many bespoke workshops for senior executives and board members as well as running training for business analysts, architects and project managers in business transformation techniques within numerous firms.

Julie has also guest lectured at many top universities around the world on topics such as Project Management for Engineers, Electronics and Entrepreneurship.

Training Philosophy

Julie believes that people develop new capabilities by having a growth mindset and being open to collaborating with others and learning through failures (both one’s own and from others) that lead them to the right course correction or adjustments to become better. She enjoys bringing practical exercises and real life case studies to her courses to make them as interactive as possible.
