This course is ideal for both individuals and teams who are already certified in ArchiMate® v2.1 and want to update their certification to meet the ArchiMate® 3 Standard. The course provides thorough explanations of the terminology, structure and concepts behind the ArchiMate® 3 specification, backed up with examples and case studies. This course is based on the ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner syllabus, with a focus on outlining the improvements made to the 2.1 Standard. On finishing the course, candidates will be in an excellent position to successfully pass the ArchiMate® 3 Bridging exam (included with course).

Good e-Learning’s ArchiMate® 3 Bridging course is a self-paced, intuitive and engaging learning package that allows both individuals and teams to build on their existing knowledge of ArchiMate® 2.1 and gain a keen understanding of the specification changes delivered by ArchiMate® 3.

The course comprehensively covers the improvements made to the ArchiMate® modeling language with version 3. Students will also learn to apply the specification practically when creating or improving enterprise architecture models.

Learners can complete the course and then sit the ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner exam, earning an industry-recognized qualification that will prove their understanding and knowledge.

Gaining a certification from the ArchiMate® Bridging course requires you to pass two examination sections. The first is a multiple choice exam consisting of 20 questions. The second consists of four complex scenario questions, each with gradient scoring. After passing the exam you will officially become a certified ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner.

Pearson Vue is an authorized provider of exams for TOGAF®, IT4IT® and ArchiMate® certifications, offering exams worldwide through a network of test centers. Good e-Learning will provide you with a free combined voucher for both of the ArchiMate exams on request.

When you feel ready to sit the exam, just give us a call or contact our support team. Your exam voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be claimed within 12 months of you first accessing the course.

What you need to know about the ArchiMate® 3 Advanced Bridge Exam (OGA-3AB):

  • The pass mark for the exam is 65%: you must get 26 out of 40 questions correct (Section 1: 20 questions, Section 2: 4 questions). The time limit is 75 minutes (Section 1: 30 minutes, Section 2: 45 minutes)

  • * Once you start section 2, you cannot return to section 1 *

  • The first section is a multiple choice exam consisting of 20 questions

  • There is a time limit of 30 minutes to complete the exam

  • The exam is closed book - you cannot make use of any resources or materials during the exam

  • The second section is a scenario based, complex multiple choice exam consisting of 4 questions

  • There is a time limit of 45 minutes to complete the exam

  • The exam is open book - an electronic copy of the ArchiMate® 3 Specification is built into section 2 of the exam. No hardcopy books may be used at test centers

You can book your exam via the Pearson Vue website and pay for it using a unique voucher code. During this process you will need to create a Pearson Vue account by filling in your personal details.
